Salisbury boxing development foundation, develops young people through the sport of boxing.
Most training is non-contact, and the strict regime instils a profound sense of discipline, order and respect. It teaches that actions have consequences, as they do in the world beyond school.
Some young people have trouble with concentration and focus. They fall behind in class and can become obstructive and destructive. They lose the will to learn. In a gym, they discover new challenges. Achievement can build their confidence, self-esteem and efficacy.

'Salisbury boxing development foundation shows them they can, rather than they can’t.’

Boxing also communicates with young people on their own terms. It unashamedly recognises the aggression and frustration common in young people, and gives it an authorised physical outlet, via an olympic sport.

If we really are concerned about the health and safety of the next generation, we have got to get real. Giving every child the chance, Salisbury boxing development foundation is a good place to start.
